In the Algarve summers are hot and winters mild with hardly any rain, only about 500mm each year. Combined with inviting springs and autumns. Albufeira and the Algarve can also count on around 3,000 hours of sun. The Algarve can be a breezy. The winter weather in Albufeira is mild, in the daytime if there is no cloud or wind it can be very pleasant. The winter is a very popular time for golfers who flock to Albufeira and the Algarve to use the great courses without the intense heat of the summer. Springtime in Albufeira is so beautiful. Albufeira residents seem to have a spring in there step and the summer clothes start to come out with the sun. The scenery totally changes as Albufeira comes to life with all the beautiful flowers in bloom.
The summer arrives and the town is alive with all of the bars and restaurants open and eager for business. The beaches are full of tanned bodies soaking up the sun in the cloud free sky. Tourists stroll around the Old Town browsing the gift shops and stopping at the cafes for a coffee or small beer. At night the Old Town and the strip are alive with hoards of revelers enjoying the town’s nightlife.
Autumn is still a very popular time to visit the town. The weather is still very warm and you can avoid the inflated high season prices. All the bars and restaurants are still open in town, but they just seem to have a bit more room to relax.
