Taking A Beach Holiday May Be One Of The Best Vacations Ever
A beach holiday is likely to be the most relaxing. When families leave their time unplanned it allows the opportunity for most relaxation. These families may choose to see some of the local sites only if they feel like it at the moment.
People spend so much time at work that it is difficult for many to relax at all. They have become accustomed to being under stress at all times. Even time with the family is scheduled. Between chauffeuring the kids to soccer practice and art classes, there seems to be very little if any quality family time. Everything in this families life runs on a tight schedule. A vacation at the beach is perfect for people such as these. They may spend all the time they like doing absolutely nothing, and see the sights only if they feel like it.
The sound of the waves, the feel of stand between a person’s toes, and just sitting in the warm sunshine doing nothing, quickly become something that people get used to. This is a great way for families to spend quality time together. For many watching their own children playing on the beach will remind them of their own childhood memories. Some people will never want to go home.
For seafood lovers, this is a paradise. The freshest lobster, steamers, and clams can be found in many restaurants and even beach-side clam shacks. The best part is that in most restaurants, even including some of the finest, casual dress is accepted. Dressing up is generally optional. There is absolutely no fuss involved in this type of a break from the day to day hassle.
There is so many beautiful creatures to see that live in the ocean. Charter boats are common in these areas. Most often a captain and crew will be included. This makes it possible for any family to enjoy deep sea diving, water skiing, or even deep-sea fishing. Many of these cruises end with a dinner cruise in the evening. There is even the opportunity for guests to be invited.
Anyone who is taking a holiday at the ocean should make sure to remember to bring the camera. The lasting memories which are made will certainly want to be recorded on film, so that they may be enjoyed for years into the future. It is also a location which is sure to be a backdrop for some beautiful photographs.
Aquariums, boardwalks, and arcades will frequently be found at the beach. People will have the chance to have some fun without having to travel a great distance. Some families may decide to go a bit further to see the sights. This choice is perfect for days when the weather is uncooperative. Some may also choose to see a movie or go bowling.
As long as people remember to bring sunscreen, bathing suits, and towels, a beach holiday will likely be the best vacation ever.

Some Of The Best Places In The World For A Beach Holiday
When we think about where to go on our beach holiday there are lots of considerations to make, of course. One of the main ones will be budget and the distance of travel from where you live. As such certain tropical spots around the world might be largely off limits for you, unless it is that once in a lifetime trip that you have been waiting to go on. Taking all considerations out, lets think about some of the best places in the world for a beach holiday.
The first place to mention may just be the most beautiful beach and island landscape in the world. The island of the Maldives are totally stunning for anyone who has ever been to them. Thousands of island make up beautiful atolls and each one is gifted with its own stunning sandy beaches. Typically these islands have been popular for honeymoons and couples, and their beauty really tells the story of why this is so.
Secondly, the island of the South Pacific will also offer up some dazzlingly incredible beaches for you to enjoy. The island groups of Fiji and the Cook islands are all absolutely stunning and will more than take your breath away when you first see them.
Third of all, a very popular spot for travellers and holidayers alike is Thailand and the other countries of Indochina such as Vietnam and Cambodia. Here you will be able to find that prices are extremely low and as such you are able to live like a king on a cheap budget in some beautiful beach locations.
Forth of all, the Whitsundays in Australia. Australia itself has so many beautiful beaches dotted all around its enormous coastline, but if you are looking for true perfection then the Whitsunday islands right at the bottom of the Great Barrier Reef is an ideal spot. In particular, the beach of Whitehaven has regularly seem itself right at the top of bolls of the most beautiful beaches and this really has to be seen to be believed.
The list does continue on for as long as your arm and at the end of the day the main consideration you will have to make when choosing where to go will be what you want to do and the budget you have to work with.
Whatever you are after, as long as you have the budget to suffer it, you will find some superb locations that world over.

Thinking About A Costa Rica Vacation? Check Out Jaco
[I:http://www.wystravel.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/VictorKrumm5.jpg]
How about going to a vacation spot that is known to have some of the best and most popular beaches in Costa Rica? If you have always wanted to vacation in Costa Rica, check out Jaco.
Located only two hours from San Jose, Jaco is along Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast at the Northern part of Puntarenas province. Though there are plenty of things to do during the day, this is one of the country’s famous “party towns”, well known for the outstanding, eclectic nightlife that you can enjoy on the beach.
Over the years, many tourists have made this a favorite location for their visits, citing its casual, relaxed, laid back, friendly, party atmosphere. There are lots of great beaches nearby, some of which are very tranquil, all of which are gorgeous. Jaco has boomed over the last half dozen years or so. Where there was once a quiet little road (except at night) road through town, today there are towering high rises and resorts, and lots and lots of bars, restaurants, and shops.
College kids have long traveled to Jaco because of its “party beach” and cheap accommodations. There is great surfing and lots of bars and discos. They are joined by people of every age and background who come here to enjoy the many things to do and see. Today, there are many restaurants, taverns, tourist traps, and nightclubs to choose from. Whatever your budget, from luxury to basic (think hostels without hot water) there’s a place for you—-not to mention a tourist souvenir shop.
Jaco Beach sits directly in front of Jaco and is very, very popular but , in my opinion, nearby beaches just a couple of miles or kilometers away, are much better. There are fewer people and the waters are some of the purest on earth. The best beaches are awarded Blue Flag ecological certifications for cleanliness. When you vacation in Jaco, I strongly recommend going to spectacular Hermosa Beach, a couple of miles south of Jaco. Though it is not good for safe swimming due to its currents, it is pristine and pure with some of the best surfing on the planet. How good is the surfing? Think world class. Indeed, this July professional surfers from more than 35 countries are descending upon Hermosa to participate in a week of world surfing championships. Watch them during the days or party with them at night in Jaco.
There are dozens of different things to do and innumerable places to visit close at hand. Costa Rica is tiny but filled with interesting places and activities. Go whitewater rafting or learn to sea kayak. Take a horseback ride along the beach or through the mountains (if you’re into extreme riding, you can literally ride across Costa Rica from the Pacific to the Caribbean). Visit volcanoes, sit in volcanic hot springs, try rappelling in tropical mountains, go ballooning. Or just sit back and enjoy the great ocean views and beautiful, romantic sunsets. But, take care when swimming. Some of the beaches, wonderful for surfing, can be dangerous for swimming because of riptides. There are no lifeguards—and no warning signs—so ask if it is safe to swim before jumping in.
And, if you like to fish (or want a new experience), take a day charter from Jaco. The waters are often teeming with wonderful fish, from 400 pound marlin to sailfish, schools of tuna, and dozens of other species. Costa Rica offers some of the worlds great off-shore fishing and remember: the worst day of fishing is better than the best day of working.
Though it is easy to reach by air, Costa Rica remains to be discovered. Columbus was the first to find it and, indeed, gave it its name “Rich Coast.” It remains a spectacular haven with one-fifth of every species of plant and animal on the planet residing together in a tiny little country. So, don’t limit yourself to the beaches of Jaco. There’s lots more waiting.

Which Online Travel Site is the Best?
Discount travel sites aren’t something new anymore, but they keep reinventing the wheel to make things easier and cheaper. Here are a few sites you should look into and some more travel tips you can use today.
Priceline and its name your own price program is actually a great way to book a trip as long as you are patient. My advice is to start early and inch up your price until they agree to it.
Some sites are known as blind sites because the names of airlines, hotels and departure schedules are hidden until purchase is complete. Flight tickets are usually nonrefundable and there are no frequent-flyer miles available.
With this economy, luxury travel is hit the worst and that means huge savings with LuxuryLink.com, a discount site that helps you book luxury travels. Check it out if you want to splurge a little.
Two sites you should look into is LastMinute.com and LateRooms.com. The former works with many companies within the U.S. and the latter is better for overseas travel.
Even if a United States address on a credit card prohibits you from making a reservation with your card, you can often make travel deals inside the country you are traveling to once you are there, especially for short air flights, car rentals or even hotels you may want to stay at during short excursions from your main base.
Keep in mind that there may be hidden fees attached to any reservation made in a foreign country, especially in regard to car rentals because of insurance policies covering foreign drivers, etc.
With all the social networking sites springing up on the web, it was only a matter of time before people started posting messages about travel sites and agencies.
Keep an English-foreign language dictionary handy when traveling in a foreign country. Keep important telephone numbers in your wallet or purse, and a copy back at the hotel in case your wallet or purse is lost or stolen.
It’s nice to see that the Travelocity promotional code is converting, which means that everyone is taking notice of the good savings and using them.
When You Think Caribbean Beaches In Costa Rica, Do You Think Fantastic?
Tropical Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful places on the globe, world-famous for its uncrowded beaches, tropical mountains, and volcanoes. Many Costa Rica vacationers visit its sandy beaches ranging from white to black, coral beaches, and rugged boulder strewn beaches with magnificent surf along the Caribbean Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Because of its many attractions and warm, friendly people, it has become one of the favorite tropical vacations for beach lovers and eco-tourists.
Few visitors to Costa Rica realize its rich history or how it got its name. About a decade after he discovered the New World along the American coast, Christopher Columbus returned and sailed south. He became so enthralled with the Caribbean beaches he found here that he named his discovery Costa Rica! The name means the rich coast and has stuck for over five centuries.
Do not be fooled. Columbus was the first, but not the last, explorer. There are still many adventures for visitors to discover for themselves. Costa Rica has nearly 800 kilometers of Caribbean coast. Its eastern coast has far less development than the western side of the country and has a unique Caribbean feel. This is Bob Marley country.
For more and more tourists, a Costa Rica vacation is not complete without seeing Tortuguero National Park along the northern Caribbean coast extending to the southern border of. There are no roads to Tortuguero so most folks go to Limon and travel north to the park by boat, although there are small airfields as well. Despite its remoteness, this Caribbean park is one of Costa Rica’s Seven Wonders. Originally set aside as the world’s largest green sea turtle nesting area, today it hosts many lodges and tours servicing fishermen and ecotourists.
Limon is often the starting point to head north by boat or small aircraft to Tortuguero or along the Costa Rica Caribbean highway to great beaches south, including the beach where Columbus first landed. Limon is not a favorite vacation destination and is best considered as the place to go north or south. Heading south will take you to Puerto Viejo. This small town is legendary for surfers and a favorite Costa Rica surfing destination. Between November through April, it is often filled with surfers. The top surfers head for the world-famous three-mile long La Salsa Brava wave. A short distance south beginners and intermediates can have lots of fun surfing at Playa Cocles.
About 50 kilometers south of Limon and a short distance north of Puerto Viejo is Cahuita, a very small, laid-back community with kilometer after kilometer of pristine beaches, some nearly black and others pure white. September and October are the driest months of the year and visitors who come around October 12 take in Carnaval at Limon, a week-long fiesta celebrating Columbus Day. Cahuita is popular for its wonderful reef snorkeling around its two shipwrecks. Not a lot of nightlife here so head a few miles south to Puerto Viejo.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Gandoco-Manzanillo Wildlife Reserve nearly at the Panama border. When Christopher Columbus discovered Costa Rica, this is where he landed. In this tropical you will find crystal clear waters perfect for swimming and scuba diving (you can rent equipment and even get PADI certified). Or, if you like, snorkeling at Costa Rica’s largest coral reefs. Not to mention, kayaking, hiking, and terrific wildlife viewing.
