If you are looking for somewhere to go for a great fun filled night out why not take a look at Madrid. Madrid has got such a great night life scene that it is often referred to as Europe’s night life capital.
Madrid has something for everybody and can boast 344,000 bars that can cater for everybody’s different tastes. This truly is the city where everybody wants to go for a great night life.
Such is the night life in Madrid that you can often see lots of people still out partying even at 4, 5 or 6 o’clock in the morning. It is even a possibility that you could even get stuck in the traffic at that time of morning too. May locals refer to these people that stay out partying as Gatos which is the local translation for cats.
Children are also free to enter many of the bars and restaurants in Madrid as well as most of the pubs. They are free to do this but it is not really recommended that they do so. Many owners of these bars prefer to be consulted beforehand of any of these occurrences.
The abundance of nightlife in Madrid can be traced back to when King Juan Carlos turned Spain back into a democracy back in the early eighties. As many Spanish people used to be oppressed by the long dictatorial rule in Spain it made the youths congregate on the streets to vent their strong feelings.
This new Cultural Revolution was sparked by many Musicians, writers and many other intellectuals at the time.
The Spanish people are very proud of their night life and it shows with the many clubs being open from midnight until about 7 am from Thursday until Sunday. You may also find many clubs that stay open even longer than that.
Many of the Madrid population love to dance and have fun. They also like the idea of being able to go out and eat when the want as well as enjoy the disco’s and of course drink. This is what gives Madrid that exceptional night life that people are looking for.

Food Fight! The Largest Food Fight In The World Occurs Every Year in Spain

Early on a beautiful, bright sunny morning in August, trucks groaning with over 90,000 pounds of red ripe tomatoes ease down the ancient, narrow streets of this picturesque Mediterranean village in the Valencia region of Spain.
Bound for the Farmers’ Market?
Not today.
Today is the Annual La Tomatina — Or “Tomato Fight.”
By 11am this small town will be awash in a fiery blaze of tomato juice as up to 20,000 “combatants” engage in the world’s largest food fight.
First buckets of water are thrown at the crowd from the tomato trucks, mostly as a foretaste of what is to come. Then the tomatoes start rain down from the truck. Those on the ground catch and pickup the orbs and start throwing them back at the trucks and at each other. Soon it is all out red juice war with everyone seeming to be an army of one.
After the battle, you can wash off in makeshift public showers supplied by the town folk.
History of La Tomatina
The batalla — or “battle” — takes place during a week-long celebration that has no political or religious significance — it’s just good, messy fun. It seems to have started as recently as the 1940′s when a number of friends started a tomato fight for unknown reasons in Buol’s main town square. Soon the fun started drawing passers-by into the fray and everyone had a great time.
It was apparently so much fun that the city officials decided to make it an annual event and it has grown to the huge festival it is today drawing people — and attention — from all over the world.
They now sponsor it, pay for it and clean up the mess.
More Than Just Throwing Tomatoes
But that is because La Tomatina has grown into a full-blown fiesta that now includes the festival for the town’s patron saint. For the week leading up to the epic battle every year the town is filled with tourists — and tourist money! — and there are parades, fireworks and street parties with wine, music, dancing and plenty of good food including the town specialty — Paella.

It is amazing the sheer number of different beach party games available for you to play, on the beach or located anywhere with some open party space, the possibilities are endless. Having a bunch of fun playing beach party games is possible for all of us, even far outside the realm of oceans and sandy beaches. Being located in a middle of nowhere town is not a problem for having a fun time volleying a beach ball, or slapping some paddle ball with your friends. It is important to consider the whole gamut of beach gaming options, and even people without beach front property can be ready to throw a super fun beach party for their group of friends and family.
If you’re having an indoor beach party, consider volleyball with inflatable beach balls, treasure hunts in the sandbox or sand, or even have a swimsuit competition. Crank up the thermostat and get your house nice and toasty so that everyone can have a fun time at the beach, even if they’re in the middle of the plains. You can have an outdoor beach party, as well. You can have sand delivered to your home and play sand volleyball, football, or Frisbee. You can have a sandcastle competition, treasure hunt, or even just a fun game of burying people in the sand and seeing who can dig out the fastest. There is no limit to what you can do at a great beach party.
Now, if you are lucky enough to be having your beach party games on a real beach, with real sand, then there is a great deal more variety that you can bring to the show. Playing volleyball is of course number one, throwing the Frisbee, and doing your treasure hunts, and you can get so much more than that with the available water and mounds upon mounds of sand available. Starting a scavenger hunt in the immediate area, and using the water waves and the natural surf is all your advantage. Being creative and using all of the different resources you have on hand can be great creative fun to create the most fabulous beach party you have ever seen.
It doesn’t matter if your beach party games are happening in your backyard or on a real beach, because there is something out there that everyone can enjoy. From beach ball games to volleyball, sandcastle competitions, and more, there are so many great ways to create fun beach party games, as well as a variety of games that already exist for you to try out.
Be sure to exhaust all of your options in examining the various beach games available to you, also be sure to see which games sound like they will be the most exciting and easy to implement for your group. The whole objective here is that you and your friends will have a blast, after all, and that is the whole purpose of arranging your beach party games.
