The city that has something for everyone, one to look forward to is shopping in Dublin. Dublin is defined as the center of exciting and fun activities all rolled in one. Also, a nearby Powerscourt Towncentre is smaller and nicer shopping centers in the city. A little close by is The Georges Street Arcade that is an indoor market that is worth to visit. In the north side, Henry Street has department stores with various popular clothing and footwear stores. You are sure to find something that you would like here. There is also the famous outdoor food market of Moore Street. It sure has lots of bargains all the time. In the nearby O’Connell Street, which is Dublin’s main attraction, has the excellent shops.

A simple rule to think of when you’re looking for a hotel in Dublin, is to ask yourself what sort of things you’re actually looking for from the place you’ll be staying in. Although this sounds blindingly obvious, it’s amazing how many times people forget this when looking for a hotel.
So how do we go about answering this question? What we need to do is develop a list of features that can be found in the Dublin hotels that you find in your online search. Once we have this list, we’ll be much better able to choose a hotel that best matches what we’re ideally looking for.
The basis for all hotel stays is obviously the reason why you’re going to be there in the first place. This will most likely be either for a holiday or city break, or for work. There are, of course, other possibilities (such as visiting relatives, attending a party etc.), but we find these are the two most common reasons for wanting to stay in a hotel.
Once we have in mind why it is we’re going, we then need to determine where in Dublin will be the best place for us to be based. This will take into account factors such as whether you want to be near the town centre, near to any sightseeing opportunities, or near to the place you’ll be working.
Once you have this in mind, you’ll want to decide what sort of facilities are important to you within the hotel itself. Certainly most modern hotels will come with en suite bathrooms, but if that isn’t important to you, you may be able to save some money. Similarly, you should decide if you want a bar or restaurant in the place you’ll be staying.
Several years ago, it would have been quite odd for hotels to have facilities such as a gym or a swimming pool. But nowadays, you can find quite a few that offer these and more. And if you want to be using the internet while you’re away, you might want to check if your hotel has a wireless internet connection.
Having mentioned money, this is a very obvious issue that you’ll want to address. No point looking for 5 star luxury if you simply can’t afford to pay the amount it would cost per night. Dublin certainly has its fair share of hotels to choose from in all price brackets, so you should easily find something suitable with just a few minute’s investigation.
Now you have all this info to hand – location, facilities etc. – you should look into each of the hotels that are available in Dublin that match up with your requirements. You’ll probably find several that tick all the boxes, so you now simply need to choose your favourite.

Ballybunion is a charming seaside resort town in the south west of Ireland which has been drawing in tourists to its sandy beaches and to its golf clubs for many decades.
A key factor in the village’s popularity is that it is one of the few towns in the area not to have been over-commercialized with coffee shops and trendy bars. Instead it has retained a small traditional Irish town feel to it that foreign and Irish visitors still wish to experience.
The brunt of tourism to the area is drawn to the family-friendly beach and secondly to the local golf courses.
In summer, Ballybunion beach becomes the focal point for most visitors. Some come to relax on the beach, swim in the clean sea water or even join in with some of the surfing (the local surf school also rent out equipment).
When the beach is crowded in summer, many visitors partake of the enjoyable cliff walk to take in the sea views and also visit some of the other beaches in the area. The ‘Nuns’ beach, with its overlooking nunnery, is a particularly nice spot for whiling away a relaxing summers day.
For holidaying golfers, a round or two at Ballybunion golf club should not be missed. The 2 courses are world famous with the Old Course regularly appearing in the top 50 lists of courses in the world. Certainly, it is in the top 3 of links style courses world-wide. The second ‘Cashen’ course is less famous, but equally enjoyable to play. The one big tip though is to book a tee-time well in advance.
Possibly the most famous visitor to Ballybunion has been former president, and golf enthusiast, Bill Clinton who played a round of golf here in 1998. The town was so proud of this fact that a statue now appears in the town main street of Mr. Clinton teeing off.
The only downside to the village’s old style charm is that there are not many Ballybunion hotels and those that are would largely be considered as guesthouses. Therefore, most visitors choose to base themselves in hotels in the surrounding countryside and make day trips in to Ballybunion. Given that this area of County Kerry has some of the most beautiful countryside in Ireland it won’t be such a bad thing to be based outside the village.
Ballybunion town has a small tourist office on its main street providing details of local amenities, information and attractions, such as details of the local bus service to Listowel town. Note however that the tourist office is only open in the summer season.
