Additionally, the White Rose dumplings recipe is a secret, held by one family in Hoi An who supplies all the restaurants in town. White Rose dumplings do have a very light, soft rice paper that surrounds a shrimp filing and a garlic rice wine vinegar dipping sauce.
You could get up early one morning to experience the sun rise and one of the most hectic sceneries in Hoi An – The fish market. Small and slightly bigger ships with 6-7 fishermen are frantically unloading their catch. Da Nang has a coastline of 30 kilometres long, famous for many beautiful seashores stretching from the north to the south. It makes a perfect location for a beach break on your Vietnam holidays. They are calm seas with green water and nice temperatures throughout the whole year.
One of the most popular beaches in Da Nang is My Khe. It is one of the most popular beaches amongst both domestic and international tourism. With around 1 kilometre in length My Khe it is also one of the most crowded beaches in the area.

Sapa is located in the very north west of Vietnam close to the Chinese border. Along with Halong Bay it is the “other” major excursion from Hanoi. It is considered one of the must see places for Vietnam holidays. Time permitting you can do a circuit around the northwest highlands which takes in Mai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien Phu, Lai Chau and finally Sapa before heading back to Hanoi.
How to get there
To get to the mountain you need to take a train from Hanoi to Lao Cai. From there you will take a mini bus up in to the town of Sapa. Transportation from Hanoi to Sapa can be arranged for a reasonable price. You might also be able to take a bus but it takes much longer.

Trek Fansipan: Mount Fansipan is Vietnam’s highest peak located in the far north just outside of Sapa. It is a very steep mountain that gets a lot of moisture. Cat Cat Village: Cat Cat is a village of the Black H’mong, about 5 Km west of Sapa Town. Located near the bottom of a deep valley right at the foot of Fansipan.
