The Exotic Florida Keys

It is impossible not to be impressed when you first encounter the Florida Keys. The Keys are like nowhere else on earth in their beauty, peculiarity, their congeniality and their personality. It seems as though my body and mind instantly relax as I drive through Key Largo; just knowing I am going further down into the heaven called the Keys. If it is your desire to stay in a timeshare during your time in the Keys, contact Mr. Chad Newbold, with main offices in Orlando.

Route 1 is the only road from Key Largo to Key West and it is awesome. It passes through small villages, small hummocks of mangrove trees, intermixed with tiny beaches. Shore fisherman, cast for snapper and yellowtail, while flat bottom boats work their way through the flats in their quest for elusive bonefish.

Everywhere, the water is a different and beautiful color: green, turquoise, sapphire, and beige. On the left is the Atlantic Ocean, shallow and various shades of blue; on the right is Florida Bay and then the Gulf of Mexico; murky yet beautiful in shades of green, beige and tan. Islands dot the landscape in the Gulf, as do boats seeking pleasure or fish, or both.

The drive to Key West could not ever be described as bad. It has great scenic beauty, something new and different around every corner or over every bridge, particularly the seven mile bridge. Pelicans, ungainly yet graceful, glide beside your car as you speed along the highway. Islamorada and Marathon are the only places that slow traffic down on the way to Key West. Just north of Marathon is a place where you can swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center. At last, Key West, unfolds. It is a bustling place with lots of people, lots of shops and lots of restaurants.

When you contemplate the Keys, you may consider Key Largo and Key West. Florida Vacations For The Family

The kids have finally convinced you and you have agreed on that family vacation getaway to Florida. They’re excited and ready to take off. They have a strong desire to go to Orlando, and you are growing weary of hearing about Disney World on a daily basis. What are parents supposed to do? While Disney World is the most renowned vacation destination in Florida, it is not the only vacation destination.

The Orlando and Kissimmee regions have a wide variety of vacation attractions. In fact, Kissimmee can be considered the laid-back, historic alternative to Orlando. Kissimmee residents have made a concerted effort to retain the appeal the area is known for. While there are some water parks and resorts, attractions such as Old Town, rodeos, horseback riding and a petting farm make it a wonderful family vacation getaway. To find a luxurious timeshare to accommodate your family on your trip contact Chad Newbold.

Other cities in the vicinity that are great family vacation destinations include, Mount Dora, great for biking trips, Polk City, for aircraft enthusiasts and Sanford, home town of the Central Florida Zoological Park.

Further south is located Palm Beach County. Yes, that’s right, I did say Palm Beach. I know what you’re thinking. ‘Palm Beach’ and ‘family vacation getaways’ don’t go hand in hand . That’s where you may be mistaken . You just have to understand where to find them. West Palm Beach is perfect for that family vacation getaway, thanks to destinations such as the Norton Museum of Art and the Lion Country Safari, where visitors can see lions, giraffes, and a host of other animals, running free.

As you proceed in a northerly direction, you can provide your children with the perfect opportunity to learn more about the environment, by going to the Loggerhead Park and The Marine Life Center in Juno. Here they will learn about sea turtles and be able to go on a turtle walk. To find a timeshare that will be centrally located for your Florida vacation, contact Chad Newbold.

We’re not done yet. Welcome to the Florida Keys, a great place for adding more excitement to your vacation. Certainly I wouldn’t suggest you take your children diving, unless they’re accustomed to that sort of thing, but you can definitely visit Islamorada. They will enjoy the unique experience of interacting with sea lions and dolphins. You’ll also have the chance to feed the giant tarpon that gather around the docks. How many other kids will be able to say that they did that on their family vacation? As you can see by now? Disney World is not the sole option for your Florida family vacation.
