First things first, make sure you book your cruise long before you make the trip out to the Caribbean. By banking on coming across a good deal once out there, you put yourself at the mercy of many a rip off merchant and are just asking to over pay. Once you’ve ascertained just how long you want to go for, stick with the plan. The options are 3, 7 or 10 nights. The longer you stay the more places you can see. With the longer tours, a stop over in a Central American port such as the ones in Mexico are common. The peak season for this is the UK winter time, so if you want to beat the costs then book for the summer!
Try and go for an inclusive deal if possible. This will mean all your food, drinks, trips, excursions and entertainment are provided for so you can focus on relaxing and stock up on the world class food and drink, knowing it won’t cost you a penny more!
Remember to pack all the relevant paperwork, in particularly your passport and related travel documents for the cruise. You should also ensure you have arranged health and travel insurance before you leave to ensure you are well cared for no matter where you might be, in the unfortunate case that you are taken ill.
