5. Alaska – Animal and reindeer lovers should consider a Christmas break in the Alaskan town of Anchorage. As well as enjoying a true snowy winter you can visit the town’s popular tourist attraction, the local reindeer farm. Here can you can feed and pet reindeer as well as other animals such as elk, moose and blacktail deer. Although be warned, they also serve reindeer in the restaurant at the end of your tour!
