Everyone loves Florida weather, but few realize that is is not all sunshine and sunrises over the ocean. It has it drawbacks. Does the word Hurricane mean any anything to you?

In peak summer season you will find it is a lot easier to stay inside and play a card game in the middle of the day because of the heat and humility.

This is just an adjustment you can make. After all, the sunrise over the ocean is great in the early morning and there is always a chance to nap in those hot hours. Then back out and at fun at night all evening.

The weather in the middle of the day is very uncomfortable to people who are not from warm climates. With the humidity up, it is a real challenge for some people.

The heavy air makes breathing a pain. If you already have breathing issues, be sure to plan for any problems. The important thing is planning your activities so you are not killing yourself over some hard labor in the heat.

An extreme plan is to visit Florida in the winter season. This is a great way to avoid the heat, but it also has a downside. Florida can get cold. Down in the 40′s is not exactly fun beach weather. If you are planning a winter trip it is a wise idea to pack a few heavier items just in case a cold snap catches you.

The benefits of a winter vacation to Florida are that the humidity drops in the winter and this makes it far easier to breathe. The colder temperature makes the whole day wide open for a lot of fun. Just get out and go.

Florida is a vacation spot that is wonderful but beware; it is not perfect so go prepared with a plan and the proper stuff and relax on the beach.
