Best time to book cheap vacations packages in Cuba?
My partner and I have decided to travel to Cuba in December or January for our annual vacation, but I just finished school so I don’t have much money to work with. To book a winter vacation for this time period, when is the best time to book? Is it better to wait last minute or should we book a few weeks in advance?
First of all, WHY does everyone think that only Americans ask and answer on Y/A LOL?? As if no one else is able to travel to Cuba either…so anyway…………
If you’re planning to travel in December, it’s better to wait last minute since that is high season and prices are higher. January is still high season as well…so it might be best to book anywhere from 1-3 weeks prior to your vacation.
Check a few online sites and then choose the agency you want to go with and make a personal call. That way they can match or give you a lower price and help you out with any other requests. And in person you might be able to get them to help you out with getting better deals too.
Also consider what areas you’re thinking of going to…some places are pricier than others….for example, Camaguey, Holguin and Varadero are less expensive than other areas of Cuba…but whatever you do, do not book less than a 4* resort to ensure quality and service.
Try these sites…they are pretty good….TripCentral gives you the final cost (taxes+surcharges incl.)…look at this site under Cuba and you will be able to get a general idea of base prices for each month…then you’ll see where and when is a better time for you.

What are the nicest vacation destinations in the Caribbean?
Next spring I plan to go on vacation to the Caribbean, and I was wondering where to go? I do not like secluded places, I like to see nice hotels, city life (if the case) and lots of people around me. I enjoy lively spaces, not isolation. Any ideas?
CUBA. CUBA. CUBA. (unless you’re American, in which case, you’re sadly missing out.)
Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic is AWESOME (specifically Playa Dorada). It’s a large metropolis, so there’s lots to do and lots of people. Playa Dorada is about a 15 minute drive from the city, but there’s plenty of clubs and bars and restaurants right where you are!
Where can I get cheap Disney World vacation packages online?
I actually live in the Orlando area so I have been to Disney World quite a few times, but this time from July 3rd to the 5th, we wanted to stay at a hotel. I been looking online for packages for 3 adult tickets for 3 days and 2 nights at a hotel (not even the fancy ones at the Disney World resort) and they usually are $1,000 and up.
Does anyone know of any good sites I can go to for cheap vacation packages?
not for disney properties -
Snowboarding Vacation: Not Your Everyday Getaway
When it comes to taking a vacation, most people choose to go somewhere tropical, such as Hawaii or the Bahamas. Not many people think of going where it’s cold. In fact, most people who live where it gets cold want anything but cold on their vacation. However, for your upcoming vacation, why not try something new? Why not try a snowboarding vacation. A snowboarding vacation can do wonders for shaking up your life when you need it the most. You can either purchase the equipment or rent it but one thing’s for sure, you’ll have the time of your life.
Check Travel Agencies
Check your local travel agency to see if they have any snowboarding vacation packages. With a snowboarding vacation package, you can get room, board and equipment for a great price. This kind of snowboarding vacation is perfect for taking the family when you just feel like getting away. It’s similar to a ski lodge only you’ll be snowboarding. If you’ve never tried snowboarding before, this is the perfect way to start. After all, there’s no sense in going out to buy all the equipment if you’ve never snowboarded before. Try a snowboarding vacation package and see if you like it first. With the popularity of snowboarding today, chances are, you’re going to love it.
If you’ve snowboarded before and are ready to go on your snowboarding vacation but don’t yet have the equipment, such as a snowboard and the proper clothing, try a ski and outdoor store. Places such as these will have everything you need to prepare you for your snowboarding vacation. You’ll want to wear all the gear as it’s meant to protect you not only from the elements but also from accidents which can occur while snowboarding.
Snowboarding is a lot of fun but it’s also dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. To start off, go easy. Don’t try to become a championship snowboarder your first time out. This means staying on the kiddy jumps in the beginning, even if you’re an adult. Showing off and trying to do too much too soon is only going to land you in the emergency room. I don’t know about you but the last place you want to end up on your snowboarding vacation is the ER, right? So, go easy and have fun, that’s what snowboarding is all about.
When you get better, then you can try the treacherous hills and jumps. So, grab your board, your gear and head out to the snow for your snowboarding vacation. Go by yourself or take the entire family. There’s plenty of fun to be had by all.

To travel safely
Few things you should know for traveling, enjoy holidays, save time, save money and avoid unpleasant surprises.
-Sooner is better. Indeed, do you well in advance to book your stay and plan your vacation. It means at least three months in advance, but always take care to take out cancellation insurance, given the political instability which lives in Lebanon and that could force you to cancel your stay.
-Choose a travel agency that has a good experience planted. Advantage? It allows you to compose your own package depending on your budget, your tastes and aim at holidays. This also allows you to avoid sacred surprises that can ruin your vacation, if, for example, where you book a hotel room in an you do not know!
-Before you buy a package, it is imperative to review that includes (or not) the price: taxes, insurance activities. Feel free to compare offers and choose not necessarily the cheapest, but for one that best matches your expectations. The all-inclusive formulas are very popular. The global service includes cheap flight, transfers, the hotel but also the activities and some meals.
-Don ‘t Do not hesitate to use the prepaid cards. For some time, partnerships bank weave around the world for reduced rates or even free withdrawals abroad. This saves you from having cash that could be stolen or lost. If you do anyway, exchange your money against the currency of the country of destination in Lebanon, not to lose at the exchange rate.

Las Vegas Vacations: the Family Friendly Circus Circus Adventure Dome
If you are going to Las Vegas and you have a family, then there is one destination that you cannot pass up. That place is the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus Hotel / Casino. The Adventure Dome is a 5 acre indoor amusement park. It features more than 23 rides and attractions. While Las Vegas heats up during the spring, summer and fall, the climate controlled Adventure Dome is kept cool year round. Aside from being the largest indoor amusement park in America, the Adventure Dome is a place that you will never grow tired of. Read on to find out why?
With wild rides such as the Canyon Blaster, Inverter, Rim Runner, Sling Shot, and Chaos, the Adventure Dome has more than enough attractions to keep you busy all day long. The Canyon Blaster is a double looping roller coaster that runs around the entire amusement park. While you are on the ride you can see many points around the Las Vegas Blvd, if you aren’t too busy screaming like a mad man. The Rim Runner is a heart pumping water ride that twist and turn down a river while ending in a gigantic 60 foot drop from a waterfall. If you are a spectator, try not to get too close to all the action. If you are watching the ride through plexiglass on the adjacent overpass you might get splashed.
The Sling Shot is a ride that catapults you into the air with the force equivalent to 4Gs. Then the ride slings you right back down. The Inverter is a tall ride to say the least. It takes you more than 100 feet into the air and flips you in all different directions. Then there is Chaos. With a name like that who needs a description. Imagine being spun, twisted, and flipped in 3 different directions all at the same time. Chaos sound a lot like disaster. But don’t worry, it’s just a ride. If you want to enjoy some of the rides and other attractions, an unlimited ride pass is only $22 for adults and $15 for children.
If thrill rides are not your cup of tea the Adventure Dome still has a lot to offer. After all, the Adventure Dome is free to enter. It’s fun in itself just to take in the atmosphere. Circus clowns perform free live acts on a stage near the parks entrance every hour. There is a rock climbing area, miniature golf, arcade games, midway games, bumper cars, laser tag and a host of other rides and activities to enjoy. The Adventure Dome even has a section dedicated to small children’s rides.
If you love to play video games, some of the latest and most challenging arcade games are spread through out the amusement park. Most of them cost no more than 50 cents. The miniature golf course always provides a little fun. The Adventure Dome even has a 3-D interactive ride that is so realistic; it will have you believing you are flying around at high speeds if you are not too careful. If you love to play paintball then visit the Laser tag arena. After every game you can check you score on the leader board. If you have an unlimited pass you can visit nearly all these attractions as many times as you wish. Anyway you cut it the Adventure Dome is more than a cheap thrill and a place you will never forget once you have paid it a visit.

Auckland City travel guide
Auckland, the “City of Sails” is the largest city in New Zealand. Surrounded by water and studded with volcanic hills, it’s an excellent city to travel in. Auckland City recently ranked fourth equal in the Worldwide Quality of Living Survey 2009.
Considering the small population (1.3m), Auckland is very large — about the size of LA, USA. In terms of its organisation, there are actually four major administrative regions (Auckland, North Shore, Waitakere and Manukau) but these are currently being combined into one region.
Because of the large area and small population, the public transport network struggles to remain efficient. Current improvements to Auckland’s train network and talk of integrating the ticketing system give some hope for the future. If you are travelling from main suburban centres to the city centre, you’re fine but I would recommend hiring a car if you want to see any real sights.
From Auckland International Airport, you need to travel around 20-35 minutes to get into the city. Apart from taxis (which are generally safe and reputable), you can catch a public bus or an airport shuttle service. If you are travelling alone, the shuttle bus is the most economical option, but two or more people will find it better to share the cost of a taxi.
If you use Auckland’s public transport, you’ll probably be catching the bus. You can buy tickets from the driver; prices vary depending on how many stages you’re travelling through. You can buy bus cards from various outlets, which you can prepay your journeys on. This normally works by buying 10 journeys or getting a monthly pass. Auckland’s train network has improved recently, and is undergoing constant improvements and upgrades at the moment, but destinations are still very limited.
Auckland hosts a number of free events through summer, with Christmas Parade, street lighting and the massive concert, Christmas in the Park held in late December. After that, Music in Parks kicks off with small community concerts being held around the city and Symphony under the Stars bringing classical talent to a large outdoor crowd. Cricket and watersports makes up most of the summer sporting schedule, but make sure you visit in 2011 for the Rugby World Cup, the second most-watched sporting event in the world.
