Any body have any ideas for cheap vacations in New Jersey?

We have allready have gone to NYC and done everything there. We are looking for something different to do for the summer. We live in the northwest part of new jersey in morris county and are willing to drive to pennsylvania. We will be taken kids ages 9, 10, and 13.
I’m not too far from you, I’m in Hunterdon County! There’s always down the shore, but it’s pretty expensive! You can check out http://www.newjerseyshore.com for some ideas though. I don’t know if you like camping, but there are a lot of state parks in new jersey and most of them have campgrounds, some have full cabins to rent and they are very cheap! Santa Fe is pretty during the summer. If youre lucky, youll catch it in a little monsoon(mid-summer). If you like nature, That’s a good area. The tram to the top of the sandia mountain(then hike around up there) in albuquerque is a nice thing to do. If you like opera, there is an opera house in santa fe. Then you could also go to the museums around new mexico. Thats pretty much all you can do in New Mexico. Nature Stuff and museums. Oh, and off roading/4 wheeling.

I then went to the Harrah’s website and it gave me accommodation for two adults for the same dates as above for a total of $1110.00, and that doesn’t include the flight price. That’s $550 per person just for accommodation at Harrah’s alone.
